Many people remain in shock after the latest Kanye West outburst at this year’s MTV Awards Ceremony. This is not his first time, the 2007 MTV Music Awards, 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, 2005 Hurricane Katrina Telathon, and 2004 American Music Awards have each had their share of his expletive (cuss word) laden (filled) rants. Either he is unhappy that he didn’t win awards or that the person/group that he wanted to win did not. Your assignment is to compose a PERSUASIVE letter addressed to the FCC that demands action or a PERSUASIVE letter addressed to Mr. West himself requesting that he do something about this trend in his behavior.
Letter must be properly formatted, this is a TIMED assignment and only one class period will be given.
The point is to see how you all write under pressure.
